This policy describes how [Company Legal Name] handles refunds, replacements, and returns for products sold through otterpeptides.com. Because we sell laboratory research reagents — products that lose their reference value the moment they leave a controlled environment — our policy is narrower than a typical consumer goods storefront. Read this in full before placing an order.
1. All sales final once shipped
By the nature of laboratory reference materials, opened or used vials cannot be returned and are not eligible for refund. Once a peptide vial leaves our cold-chain shipping or is handled outside of a controlled laboratory environment, we cannot verify its purity, sterility, or storage chain — and therefore cannot resell it, accept it back into inventory, or extend a refund on it.
2. Pre-shipment cancellation
You may cancel an order any time before it ships, for a full refund. Email [email protected] with your order number to cancel. Once you receive a tracking number from us, the order has shipped and Section 1 applies.
For cryptocurrency orders, refunds are issued in the same coin you paid with. Because cryptocurrency exchange rates fluctuate, the U.S. dollar value at refund time may differ from the U.S. dollar value at order time; we refund the U.S. dollar amount you paid, converted at the refund-time exchange rate.
3. Damaged in transit
If your shipment arrives broken, leaking, or visibly compromised, email [email protected] within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery with your order number, a clear photo of the damaged outer packaging, and a clear photo of the damaged vial(s). We will replace the damaged items on the next outgoing shipment at no cost to you. The replacement is sent in addition to the original — you do not need to ship the damaged items back, but we may ask you to dispose of them safely. Damage reports made later than forty-eight (48) hours after delivery, or without photographic evidence, may be denied.
4. Wrong item or shipping error
If we ship the wrong item, the wrong size variant, or short an item from your order, email [email protected] within seven (7) days of delivery and we will ship the correct item or the missing item at no cost to you. We may ask you to return the wrong item using a prepaid label we provide.
5. Lost shipments
If your tracking shows the package as lost, or has not updated for more than ten (10) business days after the most recent scan, email [email protected]. We will open a claim with the carrier on your behalf. Once the carrier confirms the package is lost, we will reship at no cost or refund the order in full, at your choice.
6. Reservation of rights
We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of suspected fraud or chargeback abuse; orders for which the buyer has materially misrepresented eligibility (for example age or research use); claims made beyond the timeframes in this policy; or claims unsupported by reasonable documentation.
7. Refund timing and method
Approved refunds are processed within three (3) business days of approval and refunded to the original payment method — typically a Cash App reverse transfer to the same $cashtag the buyer paid from, which clears same-day.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is in error, please contact us first at [email protected]. We respond to support inquiries within one business day and resolve almost everything directly. Filing a dispute through Cash App, your bank, or any other payment platform without first contacting us — or filing a dispute for an order that has shipped and been delivered without damage — is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in immediate account suspension; forfeiture of the disputed product (we do not refund disputed amounts on shipped product); a ban from future purchases; and full pursuit of the dispute through the relevant platform's resolution process, including provision of delivery confirmation and Site usage records.
